The 2nd Port Perry Walk for Dog Guides was a huge success. The key word was fun. Donations were up at least 30% from last year with final numbers after donation close end of June. You can still donate 220+ walkers experienced beautiful Port Perry and then the dog friendly Old Flame microbrewery. The acclaimed Durham Ukulele Klu, the "Dukes" Delicious lunch by Vos Independant ! Thanks to our sponsors, 100 per cent of the funds raised from the Walk go directly towards the raising, training and placement of Dog Guides for Canadians with medical or physical disabilities. Dog Guides Canada has already provided specially trained Dog Guides to more than 3,000 men, women and children, all without any government funding.
