Lotus and I will be participating in the Nobleton Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides on May 27, 2018 to help raise funds for the training and placement of Dog Guides for Canadians with visual, hearing and medical or physical disabilities. The Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides is organized by local volunteers [Nobleton Lions Club] and invites everyone, all ages and abilities in ensuring that another Canadian “Will Never Walk Alone”. You can help too by donating on my personal page: https://www.walkfordogguides.com/locations/walker.cfm?ID=801&EventID=1416 Alternatively, join me by registering for the walk at https://www.walkfordogguides.com/locations/walk.cfm?ID=1416 . All online donations will receive immediate credit card payment confirmation and an official income tax receipt. To participate in person with or without a pooch simply arrive for the 9AM registration at the Nobleton Public Library gazebo. You’ll meet likeminded folks who are willing to support such a worthwhile event. The Walk
Dog Guides are provided at no cost to qualified applicants. Thanks to national sponsors, 100% of the funds raised from the Walk go directly to the six Dog Guide training programs. Dog Guides Canada has already provided their specially trained Dog Guides to more than 2,000 men, women and children from ages 4 to 88, all without any government funding. With your help more people can experience the mobility, safety and independence a devoted Dog Guide brings.
