Support from the Walk goes toward training and matching life-changing Dog Guides with Canadians who receive them at no cost, which is only possible thanks in large part to the funds raised through this annual event. The Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides takes place in approximately 300 communities across the country, in every province, and is open to all ages and abilities. This family-friendly event encourage participants to bring their pet dogs, though you don’t need one to take part.
The national Walk date is Sunday, May 27th, 2018, though some communities choose to host their Walk on an alternative day. Check the Walk Locations page for details specific to your community.
