Join us on Sunday, May 25, for the 2025 Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides, a national fundraiser with a powerful purpose.
As the only school in Canada to train and match Dog Guides in seven unique programs, we’re proud to help people build independence, confidence, and connections through our life-changing Dog Guide programs.
No matter where you live, you can join us! Participate in person, form a team, or donate online to help raise critical funds to train and support Dog Guides across Canada.
Your actions today will create a brighter future tomorrow.

What colour are you walking for?
Here’s our team colours and what they represent...

Alison & Buttons – Team Pink
Autism Awareness
Watching my daughter Alison bond with Buttons, her Autism Assistance Dog Guide, brought tears to my eyes. Before Buttons came into our lives, Alison was dysregulated. Family outings became nearly impossible. Our whole family was hanging on by a thread.

Service
The bond between Piper, my incredible Service Dog Guide, and myself is extraordinary. Piper brings immense joy to my life. From the moment I wake up, Piper is by my side, fetching items, retrieving my shoes and braces, and greeting me with a wagging tail.

Barb & Mango – Team Red
Canine Vision
Mango, my Canine Vision Dog Guide, has completely transformed my life. She gives me the confidence to move through life with a sense of security I hadn’t felt before. I was born visually impaired, and before Mango, crowded places like airports and malls made me anxious with their overwhelming noise and movement.

Jacob & Zenith – Team Orange
Hearing
With Zenith my Hearing Dog Guide by my side, I gained the confidence to live independently. He’s my best friend, my companion, and was the missing piece of my life. Before Zenith, I often felt isolated and out of place. Now, I attend social gatherings with confidence, and his presence helps others understand my hearing impairment.

John & Dexter – Team Green
Seizure Response
Dexter, my Seizure Response Dog Guide, transformed my life. Before I met Dexter, my seizures limited my independence. Dexter has since given me a level of independence I hadn't known in years. His presence brings comfort and security to me.

Diabetes Alert
Ecco, my Diabetes Alert Dog Guide, has made a huge difference in my life. I just started university and I’m living on my own for the first time. Having Ecco puts my mind at ease that if I were to have a bad low, she would alert someone and keep me safe.
