Lion Dave was a member of the Milford & District Lions Club since Nov 1985 till his passing in 2022. During those 37 he was very active at the Club and District. In 2004 Lion Dave was elected as the District N2 (Nova Scotia Lions) member to the Board of Directors for Lions Foundation of Canada (LFC). This position was a 3 year term. Upon completion of this term he was elected as the Chairman of the Board for the Lions Foundation of Canada. This was a 1 year term. Lion Dave was very passionate about the Lions Foundation of Canada for Dog Guides. In July 2016 Lion Dave was once again elected as the District N2 (Nova Scotia) member for the Board Of Directors of LFC.
