The Alfulos Walk for a Cause

We're walking for Alfa. 💛

Adam and I are taking part in the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides in honour of our sweet Shih-poo, Alfa, who passed away 1.5 years ago at the incredible age of 16.5. This is our first year doing the walk together, and our team name—the Alfulos—comes from one of Alfa’s many nicknames.

We’re walking because we love dogs, and we believe in what Dog Guides do. These incredible animals help Canadians with disabilities live more independently, providing not just assistance, but confidence and connection—at no cost to the people who need them.

This cause is very close to our hearts and we have literally seen the difference it makes in peoples lives.

p.s. A fun fact: Adam taught Alfa how to do paw at the age of 15. So yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks.
