General Info:
Our club will organize the walk and will be advertising on FB and social media as well as traditional media. We will boost the walk at the local volunteer week event held in conjunction with the trade fair. Pincher Creek has a lovely creek running through it and the creek-side trail that ,wruns the length of the town. Our route will include the trail and adjacent streets and avenues south of the trail, with participants deciding their own distance. After the walk we will have hot dogs and drinks available to participants along with their goody bags.
Anything else:
We will be assisted by the Cowley Lions and The Southwestern Alberta Working Herding Dog Association. SAWHDA Will be running a fun K9 games in the Central Park during and after the walk. They will set up an agility course, demonstrate with their dogs, and will assist interested dog owners in getting their dogs started. They will demonstrate some tricks and help the public teach their dogs those tricks. Walk begins at 11am
