I am the new committee chair member for the Uxbridge Lions Club regarding the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides. Bob and Sue Armitage are still heavily involved has volunteers with the Lions and the Dog Guide Walk on the last Sunday in May. Bob and Sue still organize the Silent Action to raise funds at the "Art in The Park" the third Saturday and Sunday in August. Artist donate prizes for this import fundraiser. I have been on the Zoom meetings in February and March, and will be again in April and May 2026. These meetings have certainly brought me up to speed in my learning . I look forward to working together with Bob, Sue and their friends to expand fund raised this year. We will be plastering the town with posters, brochures, newspaper, ads, radio announcements and in partnership with local businesses.
