This May, help me “walk across Canada” to give more Canadians a new leash on life!
From guiding their handlers through their daily lives to getting help when it's needed most, Dog Guides play a crucial role in the lives of Canadians with disabilities. By supporting me with a donation to the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides, you are enabling Lions Foundation to fulfill their mission to empower Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence by providing Dog Guides at no cost to them and supporting each pair in their journey together.

A dog can save a lifeSunday 22nd May While I've known people on both side of life. The ones with the guide dog and the ones without. I prey one day my brother can meet the requirements to apply for a dog as I can only imagine how beneficial this would be when he crashes. The preconceived notion that a dog can tell you when something is going to happen to you before you can feel the change in your body is incredible. My brother is a diabetic and the amount of times that a guide dog could have saved him a trip to the emergency is too many. These dogs are so highly trained and so highly recommended, if I had a condition that a guide dog would be beneficial to aid in, you can bet I'd be on that list. And as such I feel this is just a portion of what I can do to help those with needs that a guide dog can aid. Everyone needs help sometimes. Share
