Be the reason independence is restored and lives are transformed.
Living with epilepsy means not always knowing when a seizure might happen. It affects my independence, my confidence, and even the simplest parts of daily life.
Programs like the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides—supporting the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides—are incredibly important. But the reality is, there isn’t enough funding to provide a Dog Guide to everyone who could benefit from one. I wasn’t able to receive one myself, and I know I’m not alone in that.
That’s why your support matters so much.
Dog Guides can be life-changing—offering safety, support during seizures, and a greater sense of independence. But it all depends on funding. Every donation helps the Lions Foundation of Canada train more dogs and match them with people who truly need them.
With Pet Valu proudly sponsoring the walk each year, this is a chance for all of us to come together and make a real difference.
If you’re able, please consider sponsoring or joining my team in supporting this cause so more people don’t have to go without.
Be part of making independence possible—for more Canadians who need it.
Thanks so much.
