This May, help me “walk across Canada” to give more Canadians a new leash on life!

From guiding their handlers through their daily lives to getting help when it's needed most, Dog Guides play a crucial role in the lives of Canadians with disabilities. By supporting me with a donation to the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides, you are enabling Lions Foundation to fulfill their mission to empower Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence by providing Dog Guides at no cost to them and supporting each pair in their journey together.

Please donate now and support me in my challenge!

Thinking of Oz

Sunday 11th Apr
Today, I’m reflecting on how honoured I am to have been a part of co-fostering an awesome poodle from Dog Guides. Oz has had very many experiences growing up as he had been in several different types of households. He started off in a house with several young men and several poodles. He went to school With his teacher Mom as well. They he skipped high school ( he’s a very bright boy) and went straight to university. He never would tell me how many frat parties he attended.😉
Then came to me and we had lots of adventures with friends both human and canine. Boat rides, cirque du soleil, restaurants, etc. He was a trooper through it all.
Now, he’s graduated as a Autism Assistance Dog and proudly wears his red vest while helping his boy.

I’ll admit I miss the guy, but I knew he was destined for great things.

I’m so proud of you Oz!
