Hello! My name is Nichole and I am the recipient of a wonderful Hearing Dog Guide named Blunden at no cost through Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.

Blunden and I were matched in the summer of 2024 and she has since changed my life and given me the world. She alerts me to people knocking on my door, my alarm in the morning (MUCH better to wake up to a dog than a bed shaker), a kitchen timer so I don't burn my food or leave my coffee in the microwave 3 times in a row, my name in busy waiting rooms so I don't miss my appointments, and most importantly fire alarms so that I don't miss important safety alerts - she even jumped into my bath one time when the fire alarm went off.
