On June 12th, 2024, Robbie’s life changed forever. That was the day he met his guide dog, Cobi.
No one could have predicted just how deeply Cobi would impact Robbie’s life. Born with cerebral palsy and using a wheelchair for mobility, Robbie faced daily challenges that many of us take for granted. But with Cobi by his side, everything changed.
Cobi is more than a dog. She’s Robbie’s partner, helper, and friend. She retrieves dropped items, opens doors, and can even bark for help when needed. But more than her skills, Cobi has given Robbie something far greater: independence and confidence.
For the first time, Robbie is experiencing what it means to do things on his own, to move through the world with assurance, and to build connections with others through the incredible bond he shares with Cobi.
