Pictured here is my 16.5 year old Shih-poo on his 16th birthday who I sadly had to put down last year. We had great memories together and he made so many people SO happy! I am doing this partly in honour of him.

Met a Dog Guide from Lions Foundation on the plane!

Monday 29th Apr
I recently had the honour of meeting Kieran, a dog guide from the Lions Foundation of Dog Guides on a plane ride back to Toronto!

He was accompanying a young Autistic boy and his parents mentioned that it was their second dog guide (the last one retired) and how amazing they are and praised the Foundation.

It was great to see and I think meant to be because I’m doing the walk at the end of May :)

Hello, 

I am doing this walk again and this time in honour of my dog, Alfa. He was 16.5 years old when he got very sick and I had to put him down last year.

It was devastating, but he brought so much love to us and all those he met. He supported me on my journey last year along with my boo, Adam and this year I may be joined or supported by my niece Joni. She’s a wonderful dog and I love her very much! Maybe my nephew Bentley will also come out to support me all the way from Montreal.
