Paws for a Cause: Join Me in Supporting Dog Guides this May!

May 25–31 marks National Accessibility Week, and I’m kicking it off on a pawsitive note by participating in the Ajax Walk for Dog Guides—and I’d love for you to join me (or at least cheer me on)!

To get into step with the cause, I’ve challenged myself to walk '50 km throughout the month of May' in support of the 40th Annual Lions Foundation Walk for Dog Guides. These incredible pups aren’t just adorable, they’re life-changers. They guide, support, and even save lives, helping Canadians with disabilities live more independently.

Here are a few fetching facts:

• It costs $35,000 to train and place one Dog Guide—but it’s provided at no cost to qualifying applicants.

• The need for Dog Guides is growing.

• Every contribution helps create more confident, independent lives.

How you can help (and make my tail wag):

1. Donate to the cause—big or small, every bit helps. Tax receipts are issued for donations over $20.

2. Join me for the walk on Sunday, May 25 at 10 a.m. in Ajax, or find a walk near you!

I'll be crossing my final kilometer at the event on May 25—and it would mean the world to have your support along the way. Let’s make some strides for accessibility and inclusion benefiting the Ajax community together!
