Join Us in Making a Difference: Crash Safe Dog’s Winnipeg Charity Walk for the Lions Foundation At Crash Safe Dog, our journey began with a mission to save lives. We created our crash-rated dog harness to keep dogs and their families safe on the road, ensuring that every car ride is as secure as possible. But through this work, we found something even greater—the incredible community of trainers, service dog handlers, and industry experts who dedicate their lives to helping others. Through our partnerships and collaborations, we’ve seen firsthand the life-changing impact that service dogs have on individuals in need. Whether guiding someone with vision loss, supporting veterans with PTSD, or assisting children with disabilities, these highly trained dogs provide independence, safety, and companionship. It didn’t take long for us to realize that we wanted to do more than just create products—we wanted to give back to the very community that has inspired us so deeply. That’s why we’re thrilled to invite you to join us for Crash Safe Dog’s Charity Walk in support of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides! This event is more than just a walk—it’s a chance to come together, raise funds, and support an organization that changes lives by providing service dogs to those who need them most. Event Timeline 9:00 AM – Registration Opens Participants check in, pick up any materials, and enjoy light refreshments. 9:45 AM – Welcome Announcement & Group Warm-up A short speech about the cause and a brief stretch session to get everyone ready. 10:00 AM – Walk Begins A relaxed, enjoyable walk suitable for all ages and abilities. 11:00 AM – End of Walk & Group Photo Celebrate together with a group picture to capture the moment! 11:15 AM – Closing Remarks & Thank You A few words of appreciation and recognition of our supporters. 11:30 AM – Event Wrap-Up Time to connect, share experiences, and enjoy some refreshments before heading home. Extra Activities Puppy Meet & Greet – some adoptable pups from a local shelter will be there to meet our walkers. Social Media Contest – We are encourage attendees to take photos, tag the event, and share their experience using #CSDCharityWalk. How You Can Help Every step we take together will help fund the training and placement of service dogs, ensuring they reach individuals who rely on them for independence. Whether you walk with us, make a donation, or simply help spread the word, you’re making a direct impact on a cause that matters. I am currently looking at 3 different options for location and will update when i get the proper permits etc for the event! I am looking into what will be needed for the locations to make the best decision for our walk! I am excited to start this and look forward to growing and building the walk over many years to come!
