I hope you will join the Hearts & Hounds team to raise funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
Each guide dog is more than a companion, they are a lifeline, a partner in navigating and communicating with the world. From guiding someone with vision or hearing loss, alerting them to seizures or low blood sugar, or supporting children with autism, these dogs change lives.
A child finally sleeping through the night, a parent feeling relief, an individual stepping outside without fear, or a trauma victim feeling safe are the moments that help highlight a Dog Guide's importance.

But these moments don’t come cheap, raising and training each guide dog costs $35,000, but thanks to donors, volunteers, and supporters, they are provided free of charge. The Foundation receives no government funding; the community makes each applicant's dream a possibility.
