The #WalkforDogGuides campaign ensures that the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides continues to help Canadians with disabilities gain confidence and independence by providing life-changing Dog Guides at no cost.

As the only school in Canada offering seven specialized Dog Guide programs:

• Canine Vision

• Hearing

• Service

• Seizure Response

• Autism Assistance

• Diabetes Alert

• Facility Support

 

The Lions Foundation of Canada empowers individuals through independence, connection, and support. However, the high cost of raising and training each Dog Guide ($35,000) and the lack of government funding create a financial barrier to access.
