The #WalkforDogGuides campaign ensures that the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides continues to help Canadians with disabilities gain confidence and independence by providing life-changing Dog Guides at no cost.
As the only school in Canada offering seven specialized Dog Guide programs:
• Canine Vision
• Hearing
• Service
• Seizure Response
• Autism Assistance
• Diabetes Alert
• Facility Support
The Lions Foundation of Canada empowers individuals through independence, connection, and support. However, the high cost of raising and training each Dog Guide ($35,000) and the lack of government funding create a financial barrier to access.
By participating in the #WalkforDogGuides campaign, you can personally make a difference. 2025 marks our 40th anniversary, and we aim to raise $1.6 million. Walk with us on Sunday, May 25.
