Lex & Winston Walk for Guide Dogs!
Sunday 18th MayMy faithful sidekick Winston and I, are stepping up (and trotting along) to support a cause close to our hearts: The Pet Valu Walk for Guide Dogs, in Gibsons, BC!
For those who haven't met Winston yet, he's a spirited little Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He turns five this June, and what better way to celebrate than by helping other dogs become life-changing companions?
Guide dogs don’t just change lives - they give people with visual impairments newfound freedom, confidence, and independence. These amazing animals are trained from puppyhood to become steady, reliable partners. But that kind of specialized training doesn’t come cheap. That's where this walk and your generous support makes a difference.
I have always had a huge heart for animals and a deep respect for what service dogs do. Participating in this walk is her way of giving back, raising awareness, and helping fund the training of future guide dogs.
