Join Me This May: Walking Across Canada for Dog Guides!

Dog Guides are more than just companions; they are lifelines for Canadians with disabilities, offering guidance and support every step of the way. This May, I invite you to join me, my wife Ivana, and our beloved dog Clementine, along with the wonderful team from Alectra Utilities, Paws & Power, as we participate in the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides. This national event, hosted by the Lions Foundation of Canada, aims to raise funds to provide service dogs to those in need at no cost.

At Alectra, we believe in empowering communities, and that includes supporting Canadians with disabilities. The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides provides specially trained Dog Guides in seven distinct programs, each costing approximately $35,000 to train and place. They rely solely on donations and do not receive any government funding.
