Why supporting Dog Guides matters to me!
II was incredibly blessed to bring Koda home as a puppy in May of 2019 and began the journey of training her to be my Service Dog. Over the last several years, Koda has truly changed my life. Every single day, she provides the support I need to navigate the world, and her presence has a positive impact not only on me but on everyone she meets.
Because I know firsthand the profound difference a service dog makes, I am passionate about supporting the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. I want to help ensure that others can experience the same independence and transformation that Koda has given me.
That is why I am so passionate about walking for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. I want to ensure every Canadian who needs this support has access to it. These dogs are provided completely free to their handlers, even though it costs about $35,000 to train and match just one dog.
