Safety, comfort and a life enriched!

Safe from wandering, comforted when stressed, and able to join his friends on adventures in the Valley! An Autism Assistance Dog Guide named Zumba has kept Noah safe and enabled him to participate more fully in all life has to offer as he explores nature, joins in games and tries new things with friends every day of the week!
On May 24th, we are joining the Kingston Lions for the PetValu Walk for Dog Guides! This fundraiser helps the Lions Foundation of Canada: Dog Guides, an amazing charitable organization that supplies service dogs to qualified Canadians with a disability such as autism spectrum disorder. Each service dog costs about 35,000.00 to raise, train, and place with the people who need them, but the work these dogs do is invaluable and impossible to put a price on!
Noah’s life completely changed when he received his first service dog- “Argo” at age 8. He was less anxious, learned more easily, stopped his dangerous darting into unsafe situations, and even slept better at night with his buddy by his side. Through the years, MacLean, Watson, and now Zumba have strapped on their Dog Guide Vests and fulfilled their roles as Noah’s loved and trusted companions. Can you help us raise funds for this amazing organization that helps so many?
And we invite you to walk along with us on Sunday, May 24th rain or shine starting at 10AM at the Greenwood Mall parking lot and finishing with a BBQ at the Lions Hall in Kingston. Friendly dogs on leash are welcome to join us, too! See you there!

Thank you Lions and our dog heroes! Xoxo
