As we began preparing to move back to Canada, I learned about the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides and applied for Sofia. After many months and an interview and home visit, it was decided that Sofia would benefit from having a service dog help her in daily life. From day one, Magic changed our lives! She kept her safe on outings, supported her during the medical procedures and comforted her in sleep. Magic drastically improved our lives and changed the trajectory for Sofia. Life is better because of Magic. Magic turns 12 years old this July and we have been lucky enough to have enjoyed 11 of those years with her helping our family.
